PRODUCTION PROCESS

The process begins with a design brief from our client, from which our artists draw up exclusive carpet designs (See Fig. A - Original Design).

The designs, together with coloured yarn references are submitted for client approval together with a hand trial of the carpet if necessary.

Our representatives can then advice on construction, texture and all matters relating to custom made carpeting.

Composition and Manufacturing

Each detail and colour separation of the approved design is then carefully transferred to our cotton canvass in preparation for the final weaving in of the yarn. (See Fig. B - Stencilling)

Arundell Carpets offer only the finest yarns available, from 100% pure virgin wool, worsted wool, pure silk and a combination of wool , linen and cotton silk blends individually dyed for each carpet. The carpet is then woven in one piece to fit any size or shape. (See Fig. C - Weaving)

Different textures, levels, carving techniques and bevelling can also be employed to create accentuated effects. (See Fig. D - Finishing)

The best way we can assist our clients is to develop their ideas into proper functional carpet designs. We do have over 30 years experience in this field.

We have built up a major portfolio of all ranges of designs from Classical to Modern which are at the disposal of our clients when working on particular projects.

Sitework

Arundell Carpets takes responsibility for all site measurements, shipping and installation. (See Fig. E - Installation)
