HISTORY
ARUNDELL CARPETS was established in 1973 by Philip
Arundell under the name Xebec Decor Limited. The
company has concentrated solely on designing and
supplying special hand tufted carpets for Interior
Designers and Architects.
From small beginnings, the company has progressed
to major complex contracts, none more demanding
than the special Oliver Ford designed Dorchester
Hotel corridor carpets (8,000m2 supplied over 30
years). The Ritz Hotel London is another major client
having done the carpets for main entrance hall (Long
Gallery) and other special rooms. We provide carpets
for small and large private residences, private
luxury yachts, airplanes and palaces around the
world.
Arundell Carpets places itself at the upper end
of the hand tufted business on two counts. Firstly,
we provide a wider selection of carpet constructions
from thick and plush textures to very fine tapestry
weaves. Secondly, we pride ourselves in the high
quality finish of artwork which we provide to our
clients. |
